For more than 30 years, Panaz (represented in Greece by Contract Materials by Athina Argyropoulou) has been supplying high-performance, flame-retardant fabrics, protected by the innovative Shield Plus™ anti – microbial technology, which applies to a wide range of fabrics.
Shield Plus™ fabrics consist of 5 layers:

The waterproof layer

Shield Plus™ protection is a completely safe and non-toxic for humans and the environment antimicrobial layer, which (without containing any heavy metals or polychlorinated phenols) allows the mechanical deactivation of microorganisms. By mechanically interrupting the bacterial or fungal cell membrane, Shield Plus destroys the microbial cells in contact with the fabric surface. Because it is not consumed by microorganisms, nor does it leave the surface of the fabric, it ensures that there will be no mutation and adaptation of pathogens to its fully mechanical action.
With laboratory-proven sustainability, it can act as an effective antimicrobial barrier that will remain functional throughout the product's life, being resistant to high temperatures and washing. In this way, high aesthetic fabrics are produced, suitable for use not only in hospitals and healthcare facilities, but also in Hotels, in Catering Halls, in Public buildings and in the Shipping Industry.
